Other Worlds is a series of sculptures created from unwanted books collected from small second-hand bookshops across London, each purchased for no more than £1. Through a process of salt crystallisation, the books gradually transform as crystals grow across their pages, obscuring the printed text and creating fragile formations resembling geological landscapes. The process of crystal growth is documented through time-lapse videos.

Inspired by the transition from printed books to digital media, the series explores the changing value of physical objects and the ways knowledge is preserved, transformed or forgotten. As the text becomes increasingly concealed beneath layers of salt crystals, the books lose their original function but acquire a new sculptural presence. Once vessels of stories and information, these discarded objects become landscapes of accumulated matter, suspended between decay and renewal.
