Night Knight

Night Knight takes its name from a local nickname for a phantom double-decker bus said to have haunted London's Kensington neighbourhood during the 1930s. According to the legend, the brightly lit bus appeared at night without a driver or passengers, its ghostly reflections flickering across wet streets before mysteriously disappearing.

Created from a recycled metal panel from a decommissioned London double-decker bus, the sculpture combines a blurred, reflective surface with oxidised copper wire and rubber. The weathered metal evokes the fleeting appearance of the ghost bus, transforming a discarded fragment of London's transport history into an object that carries traces of memory and urban folklore.
