Skipped a Beat - 2

Skipped a Beat – 2 explores the contrast between organic forms and Brutalist aesthetics. Fragile, translucent structures made from a biomaterial are suspended against rigid vertical steel tubes, combining natural irregularity with industrial geometry. Two unsynchronised light sources, one cool white and the other warm yellow, illuminate the organic forms from within. Their contrasting, irregular glow evokes an uneven heartbeat, emphasising the tension between fragile, almost living matter and the stillness of the metal structure.
